Cooperative Institutes of Technology

The essence of the design was to retain a simplistic vocabulary based on modular components which could be moulded to fit site requirements of the various colleges.  The focus was on creating the simplest functional expression, yet unique in its form and articulation.  The basic masterplan of all the schemes incorporates a central exclusively pedestrian courtyard with all functional areas clustered around it.  The basic module for the first scheme was adopted by the clients as the prototype for all subsequent design schemes.
