Located within the heritage precinct of Fort Kochi, this renovation transforms an ordinary 1970s residence into a serene, contemporary home shaped by the principles of Minimise, Diffuse, Merge, and Open. Conceived for a family that values minimalism, art, water, and nature, the design reimagines the existing structure through a network of courtyards, reflective water bodies, and carefully framed views. Living, dining, kitchen, and circulation spaces flow seamlessly into one another and into the landscape beyond. Natural light, greenery, and water become integral architectural elements, while restrained materials and minimalist detailing create calm, timeless interiors where art and nature take centre stage.
